• Inspiration: What inspired you to create ChaseReality.co? – The entire thing started when I was running a successful virtual tour business. It got to the point where our VR services needed a dedicated platform to host 360° virtual tours along with images, stories, and videos. Once we built that platform – even adding an AI chatbot, a private messenger, and a vast blog database – I realized my little VR venture had evolved into a full-blown metaverse platform. Suddenly, we had a space where just about anything you can do online could be experienced in a new, immersive way. That realization was incredibly inspiring and pushed me to take it even further.
• Core Values: What core values guide your work and the platform’s development? – Our core values come largely from our military and law enforcement background. The majority of our team are ex-British military, ex-police, and even have experience with the secret service. We deeply value security, determination, loyalty, and trust. These principles guide every decision we make. From the platform’s architecture to how we interact with our community, we ensure that security and trust are never compromised. Our discipline and loyalty to the mission keep us pushing forward no matter what challenges arise.
• Personal Drive: What keeps you motivated and inspired day after day? – Simply put, I love what I do. This project touches almost every aspect of the online world, and that diversity is exciting. Our team’s focus on privacy and preserving virtual locations over time (kind of like digital time capsules) means we can work with nearly any industry or interest. Just as most people or businesses have websites and social pages, we offer an additional dimension: a virtual space in time. It’s a completely new way to work, play, and create online. Seeing users explore and benefit from this new medium is awesome, and it keeps me motivated every day.

Development and Team Building

• Idea Genesis: How did you come up with the idea for ChaseReality.co? – I’ve carried the seed of this idea since the first time I discovered the internet. Back then, I saw tremendous potential for personal and business uses, yet I often found myself searching for tools that didn’t exist. I imagined a unified space where everything I wanted online was right at my fingertips. The concept of the metaverse, as we’re building it now, is exactly that – a place owned and shaped by its creators and users, not just governments or big corporations. I wanted to build a digital world where the “little guy” gets a slice of ownership and everyone can have a say in its evolution.
• Milestones: Can you share an interesting story or milestone from the development process? – One major milestone was the moment our small VR platform truly transformed into a metaverse. Early on, after we had integrated various features, we looked around and realized we weren’t just hosting VR tours anymore – we had a whole community forming and a platform that could do so much more. Another unforgettable milestone came in mid-2024 when a coder mistakenly deleted the entire platform. That felt like a disaster at the time, but it turned into a blessing in disguise. It forced us to rebuild everything from the ground up. In doing so, we improved loading speeds, enhanced the design, and made our virtual environments even more immersive. Overcoming that setback was a defining moment for us – it proved our team’s resilience and resulted in a stronger platform than ever.
• Team Collaboration: How did you assemble your team, and what qualities were you looking for in team members? – To begin with, I reached out to a few close friends I’ve known for years — people I could 100% trust. With them on board, we had a solid core of security-conscious, reliable team members. As the project grew, we opened the door for our users and even businesses to get involved. We offered to build website pages (sub-domains on our platform) for anyone interested, basically for free, on one condition: they had to actively use and update their page. This approach helped us attract passionate users who effectively became partners in the platform. Many of those early users eventually joined our team in some capacity. By building a community where everyone had a stake, we naturally attracted people who were loyal, innovative, and eager to see the platform succeed.

Platform Features and User Experience

• Unique Selling Points: What makes ChaseReality.co stand out from other platforms? – The biggest thing is that it’s completely free and we don’t demand your personal data. Unlike almost every other platform out there, we never require an exchange of data to enjoy our services. If ChaseReality.co doesn’t have your data, we can’t lose it, sell it, or abuse it — period. Another standout is that users own their space here, not us. Whether it’s your virtual page, your social profile, or your private messages, they belong to you. We don’t pry into your content, and if you decide to remove it (or if it goes inactive for over 3 months), it’s cleared out from our servers entirely. In fact, we perform routine purges of private messages (the most sensitive data) to protect our users. This platform is built on the idea that your online life is yours, not a product for us to monetize.
• User Feedback: How do you incorporate user feedback to improve the platform? – We believe in building with our community, not just for them. Our platform isn’t confined to our own domain; it lives on users’ devices and on social channels as well. We have a presence on platforms like Facebook, where we run a social group for our community. Through these channels, users share ideas, suggestions, and even critiques. We listen actively. Many of our updates and new features have come directly from user feedback or collaborative brainstorming with our early adopters. By staying accessible and engaging with our users where they are, we ensure that ChaseReality.co evolves in tune with what people actually want and need.
• Decentralization Benefits: Why did you choose a decentralized, peer-to-peer model, and what benefits does it offer? – Privacy and self-ownership are at the heart of our decision. The trouble with central servers is that whoever controls those servers controls the data. We wanted to eliminate that single point of control. By breaking up and distributing data — whether it’s images, VR content, music, or documents — we ensure no one entity (including us) has unilateral power over it. This means even if our main site were to go offline, users would still have the content they’ve downloaded, right on their own devices. A great side benefit is offline access: if you’re without internet access, say on a flight or in a remote area, you can still explore content with zero lag because it’s stored locally. We’re also pushing the envelope with a concept of an offline metaverse using social mesh networking. This initiative is really important to us because there are still so many people who either can’t afford regular internet or live in places where access is limited or censored. By enabling devices to connect directly in a mesh, we can bring the metaverse to these communities without relying on traditional internet providers. No government or corporation should control people’s access to information and experiences. We feel that there should be borders in the digital world — borders to protect privacy — but there should never be barriers that prevent people from connecting freely. Decentralization puts the power back into the hands of the people, where it belongs.

Personal Reflections and Advice

• Personal Growth: How has working on ChaseReality.co impacted you personally? – Building this platform has been a journey of immense personal growth for me. I’ve had to learn all manner of skills along the way — from core business and management skills to technical and people skills. Coming from a security and military background, I was no stranger to discipline and hard work, but running a metaverse platform introduced me to completely new challenges. It’s made me a more adaptable, patient, and creative person. Every setback (and there have been a few) taught me something valuable and pushed me to become a better leader.
• Advice to Aspiring Creators: What advice would you give someone looking to create their own platform? – First, know that going it alone is extremely tough. No matter how determined or passionate you are, external factors — like finances, finding the right talent, and even global events — can throw you off course. My advice is to plan for those challenges as much as you can. Assemble a team of people you trust and share your vision with, if possible, because a reliable team is invaluable. At the same time, design your project so it can achieve its core goals even with minimal resources. In other words, build it to run lean. That way, if times get tough or you hit a wall, you can scale back without collapsing. And above all, don’t give up. Be ready to adapt, but keep your end goal in sight and work toward it relentlessly. Perseverance, smart planning, and a strong team can get you through just about anything.
• Hobbies and Interests: What do you enjoy doing in your free time, and do your interests influence your work? – I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to hobbies. I’ve always enjoyed working with computers and software (no surprise there), but I’m also passionate about learning new things in general — whether it’s history, science, or a random DIY skill. That curiosity definitely feeds back into my work by keeping me open-minded and always eager to experiment with new ideas. And when it’s time to unplug, nothing beats spending time with my family and good friends. Those moments help me recharge and remind me why I’m doing all of this in the first place.
• Philosophy and Mindset: What philosophy or mindset do you live by, and how does it reflect in your work? – My guiding philosophy is simple: stand by your word, know yourself, and work with the most trustworthy people you can find. In both life and work, integrity is everything. I believe in being honest and following through on promises — whether it’s a promise to our users about protecting their data or a promise to family to be there when it counts. I also believe you should never give up until it’s truly over. That mindset of tenacity and integrity is something I bring to ChaseReality.co every day, and I encourage my team to do the same. It’s helped us remain grounded and committed, even in the face of adversity.
