1. First Aid
(Having the right training and medical supplies available to treat yourself and others in your group before a bad situation goes worse.)
2. Fire
(Having the ability to start a fire is a skill that will save your life, from keeping you warm to purification of water it’s high on the list only to be replaced with water in situations where water is hard to find.)
3. Water
(Being able to find and purifie water is your next priority as you can only live 3 days without it. This means having toosl to hand like chemical tablets water filtration systems or improvised methods like boiling or catching rain and morning dew.)
4. Shelter
(Being able to find or make a Shelter could make the difference between an unfortunate situation and threatening emergency. From protection to the elements to safety from dangerous animals.)
5. Food
(Knowing how to hunt, fish or scavenging including what’s safe to eat and what might be poisonous is a must for any long-term survival situation however it is placed low on the priority scale because we can live for 3 weeks without food.)
