Tim Taylor, known as Metatron to most is the visionary founder of Red Team Consultants, a renowned security consultancy firm dedicated to protecting the digital landscape of the Metaverse at Chase Reality. With a background deeply rooted in security, both cyber and physical, military tactics, and survival skills, Tim and the team at R.T.C have established themselves as a trusted authority in safeguarding virtual realms from the ever-evolving threat landscape.
Tim’s journey into the world of cybersecurity was shaped by his experiences during his 10-year military career, spanning from early 1996 to 2005. Throughout his service, Tim had the privilege of embarking on multiple tours in Northam Ireland, Iraq, and Afghanistan. These deployments exposed him to the complex challenges of modern warfare and the critical importance of information security in a digitalized battlefield.
Tim’s passion for cybersecurity emerged during his early years, when he experienced the rapid expansion of the internet and witnessed the transformative power it held. Recognizing the growing vulnerability of digital spaces, he embarked on a journey to master the art of securing virtual environments. Through relentless dedication and a thirst for knowledge, Tim honed his skills in cyber security, conflict management assessments, and incident response. With 10 years military experience and 3 tours of duty he has put together a strong team with backgrounds in the military, close protection, cyber and other diverse skills, dedicated in passing on our knowledge in a bid to help our clients strengthen their personal security presence no matter where or what they are doing.
In addition to his military expertise, Tim is a seasoned martial artist with over 30 years of training. His dedication to martial arts began with Bujinkan ninjutsu, an ancient Japanese martial art that emphasizes stealth, strategy, and adaptability. Tim’s deep understanding of ninjutsu principles has shaped his approach to security, enabling him to anticipate and counter threats with unparalleled precision. Complementing his ninjutsu training, Tim has also honed his skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Krav Maga. These disciplines have provided him with a well-rounded foundation in close-quarter combat, self-defence, and situational awareness. Tim’s martial arts background further enhances his ability to devise resilient security strategies, applying the same principles of discipline, resilience, and adaptability when creating security strategies for our clients all over the world.
In 2019, Tim founded Red Team Consultants, assembling a team of elite security experts with diverse backgrounds and specialized knowledge. Together, they have become instrumental in defending the Metaverse at Chase Reality, an expansive digital universe that intertwines with the physical world, free decentralised and safe. Red Team Consultants have developed cutting-edge techniques and technologies to mitigate cyber threats, ensuring that the interconnected realms of Chase Reality remain safe from malicious actors.
